The message on the tag reads: When Russell pig arrived at Farm Sanctuary, his first friends were a group of cows! They met through the fence line of their adjoining pastures, and gently sniffed Russell in greeting and comfort. Before coming here, Russell survived neglect and trauma; however, the cows’ warm welcome has helped this sweet pig feel right at home.
