At Farm Sanctuary, we are changing how the world sees turkeys. For 40 years—each Thanksgiving season since 1986—our Adopt a Turkey Project has encouraged people to embrace a compassionate holiday tradition by sponsoring a rescued turkey.
Since Clyde, the very first turkey we rescued, began leading the way, countless birds have found refuge at Farm Sanctuary, and Adopt a Turkey supporters have helped us provide them with lifelong care.
