Galadriel “The Dreamer”
Galadriel once lived at another sanctuary, where safety and comfort were promised but not given. She was denied the proper shelter, food, and veterinary care she needed. But at Farm Sanctuary, a promise is forever, and this enthusiastic gal is not just living but thriving, as she inspires us daily with her zest for life.
Galadriel is an outdoorsy explorer. She’s that friend who makes the perfect travel companion, always up for going to fun places and learning new things. Galadriel dreams big and sees hope for adventure in every moment.

About Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt a Turkey Project
Each year, 46 million turkeys are slaughtered for Thanksgiving in the United States. Most spend their lives in severe crowding and confinement behind the closed doors of animal factories that treat these living, feeling birds like commodities—and, like all farmed birds, turkeys are excluded from even the most basic legal protections.
Turkeys deserve kindness. That’s why, since 1986, Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt a Turkey Project has encouraged people to symbolically adopt a turkey at Thanksgiving. By highlighting turkeys' unique personalities and intelligence while also revealing the abuse they face in an exploitative food system, this beloved campaign has reached millions of people with a message of compassion.
With a special contribution today, you can sponsor a rescued turkey living at Farm Sanctuary—or maximize your impact by sponsoring this year’s featured flock of five.
Adopt for yourself or choose a gift adoption, and we’ll email a certificate to the recipient of your choosing to show them how much you care.
