Adopt Paula

Paula was supposed to be a “dairy cow.” When she failed to conceive before her second birthday, her owners considered sending her to slaughter. (It would cost more to keep her around than they would make from a cow who was not making milk.) Around the same time, however, Paula’s right eye was injured and needed to be surgically removed. The vet empathized with Paula and asked that she be sent to Sanctuary. Here, Paula is a social, caring member of her herd who loves to plant big kisses on her new friends and be groomed by them in return!
